Experience
A career built one question at a time.
Not a list of job titles. Six chapters showing how the thinking developed — from noticing that software solves unconfirmed problems, to owning discovery through delivery on live products.

Problem
The question that started it
Plateau State University, Jos
I began Computer Science expecting to learn how software is written. What held my attention instead was why so much of it is written for problems nobody confirmed existed.

Learning
Software Engineer
Dept. of Computer Science, Plateau State University
Building internal tools taught me that the hardest part of delivery happens before the first commit — in the room where people describe what they need.
- Interviewed academic staff and administrators to gather requirements for internal digital tools, converting operational pain points into documented product specifications.
- Analysed and re-mapped manual departmental workflows, identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements adopted into daily operations.
- Validated solution designs with faculty stakeholders before build, reducing rework and raising stakeholder confidence.
- Delivered production-grade tooling and mentored junior developers on requirement analysis and product thinking.

Product Thinking
Best Software Developer
Kanji Intelligent Systems
Commercial work sharpened the distinction between a working feature and a valuable one. Recognition came from asking better questions, not writing more code.
2023
Leadership
Technical Officer
Google Developers Community — PLASU
Leading a technical community meant translating between beginners, speakers, and organisers — the same translation work that product roles run on.

IT Business Analyst / Product Engineer
Independent product work
I now run the full arc myself: discovery with real stakeholders, validated requirements, design, delivery, and UAT — on products with users, not coursework.
- Conducted stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions with SME founders, community leaders, and end users to surface real business problems before proposing solutions.
- Elicited, documented, and validated functional and non-functional requirements, producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Facilitated product discovery workshops and hypothesis-testing sessions, translating qualitative research into prioritised roadmaps.
- Partnered with design, engineering, and operations collaborators to deliver customer-ready software in six-week MVP cycles.
- Led UAT and QA, closing the loop between requirement definition and delivered value.

B.Sc. Computer Science
Plateau State University
Degree completed alongside three live products. The academic foundation and the commercial one were built in parallel, on purpose.
